About Us
IGNITE Youth Organisation is a Harare-based nonprofit built for young people aged 13–29 who deserve more than a motivational poster. We build the room where purpose is actually found.
Tadzie Madzima founded IGNITE in 2018 because she believed that purpose isn't reserved for the privileged — it belongs to every young person who's ever been told to lower their expectations.
What started as one conviction has grown into eight programs, a team of dozens, and over 30,000 young people in Zimbabwe who now know their why.
"Once a young person discovers their why, you stop having to convince them to show up.
They lead."
— Tadzie Madzima, Founder & Director

Tadzie Madzima starts IGNITE with one conviction: purpose belongs to every young person, not just the privileged.
Early programs take shape as the first groups of young people move through IGNITE's purpose-centred curriculum.
What started as one room has grown into eight programs and a team of dozens working across Zimbabwe.
Over 30,000 young people have now been through IGNITE — and found their why.
A purpose-driven generation of innovative, creative African youth who build meaningful careers, contribute to their nation's development, and become the next generation of African leaders — not because they were told to, but because they found their why and ran with it.
To help youth reach their full potential through an intensive, purpose-centred approach to career guidance and curriculum — alongside programs that offer a real 360° view of what a young person actually needs to thrive.
IGNITE exists for young people aged 13–29 from low-income and underserved communities — including youth living with disabilities. We built it for the people the conventional system was never designed for.
